Nid Objects

Nid pronounced nee, is French for nest. 

Handcrafted in Lebanon, the objects are made from quality materials with time-honored techniques. Artisanship in textile supports the slow craft ethos, in a fast-paced and consumerist oriented design sphere.

Created by Sarah Chehab in 2022, Nid explores the notion of home as a physical space as well as a place of belonging, with slow design and high-quality craft at its heart.

A graphic designer by training and trade, Sarah’s creative process draws inspiration from architecture, geography, language and the natural world to build a library of contemporary patterns using regional traditional crafts.
