Collection: Andrea Nassar Ceramics

Born and raised in Australia, Andrea Nassar moved to Beirut to pursue a degree in Graphic Design from the American University of Beirut. After over 15 years of working in corporate and print design, and with numerous works recognized in various international design publications, she returned to her initial love for creating objects and working with clay.

Training under Australian-Lebanese ceramicist, Neville Salha, reignited her interest in ceramics, which led her to further explore the craft through various workshops and courses in Sydney and Thessaloniki. Upon returning to Lebanon, she opened her studio practice full time in 2018.

Nassar’s work is a reflection of a life lived between two contrasting cultures on opposite ends of the globe, represented through a dialogue between the wide-open spaces of Australia and the intensely dense layering of the natural and urban landscapes in Lebanon.

Andrea’s work has been exhibited in Beirut, London and Milan.
